Muthuthuini Factory is operated by the Ruthaka Farmers Cooperative Society, a cooperative of 3,557 various smallholder members delivering coffee cherries to seven washing stations. Coffee in Kenya is very often only traceable to the factory level. Because of the very small average farm size, there is typically no way to keep more-detailed records about where the coffee comes from without adding miles of paperwork and delay. This is one of the reasons it is difficult to find highly traceable coffees from Kenya.
Nonetheless this is a delicious coffee we roasted for filter with a crisp acidity of green apple, grapefruit and a juicy body.
350gr of freshly roasted coffee.
