Halu Beriti Washing Station was established in 2014 and serves 750 small producers from the Gedeb district. They collect the ripe cherries from their often very small farms and deliver them to the washing station. At the washing station the coffee fruit is depulped and undergoes a fermentation of 48–72 hours. It is washed clean and soaked for 8–16 hours, then washed one more time before being dried on raised beds for 9–12 days.
We roasted this coffee for filter. Expect a very subtle filter coffee with a rich sweetness, medium acidity and a juicy mouthfeel; very floral with bergamot, jasmine, apricot, peach, citrus fruit and an almond aftertaste.
350gr of freshly roasted coffee.
